The agency was featured on AMC’s “The Pitch”. It was a short lived reality show that aired immediately following the hit show Mad Men. We were given one week to return with a complete campaign that included TV, print, and digital components. The crew followed us everywhere we went…even home! We returned to their headquarters to present in front of their CEO and CMO. Meanwhile, another agency got the same brief and the same timeline.

Once you’ve presented creative in front of room full of cameras knowing a few million folks will criticizing every move you make. Presenting work isn’t intimidating at all.

As part of our contract with AMC we had to produce content to promote the show before it’s air date. Needless to stay we didn’t sleep much that week. Spoiler alert WE WON! This spot was done on the heels of the re-release of Titanic which was getting a lot of press. So timing was everything.

I’ve shot for multiple national chains using some of the worlds best food shooters. People eat with their eyes and food is not something you want to cut corners on when producing a spot. Many of my spot were shot in Chicago at Big Deahl Studios by David Deahl himself. Trust me it never smells as good as it looks.
